My Friend, no one knows you, yourself and your body better than you.
No one but you knows how are you really doing.
The fact is you are the only one that has never left your body, so you are the only one who knows everything there is to know about you. You are the only one who knows how you are doing.
If today you find yourself feeling bloated, have a headache and are very tired, you may decide to take an Advil and press on. If today you find yourself feeling depressed and purposeless, you may decide to take a long walk. If today you find yourself unable to get out of bed, you may decide just to stay in bed. Wherever you are today, you are not alone, because you have you with you.
That is a very great thing. You can never leave you.
You are also the only one who can make decisions regarding you. Not your doctor, not your husband, not your best friend. Whether you simply want to feel better physically, emotionally or both, only you can make those decisions to do something to help yourself. You may get advice from others, but only you can live out your choices.
You may not even remember the last time you were good with everything about you. You may have been so busy taking care of everyone else you have forgotten how to take care of you. You may feel like you wish you would go away because you just can’t seem to feel good, but you still remain with you.
I want to encourage you not to give up but instead to work together with your body to get you cared for.
Here are 3 GREAT IDEAS to help you BEGIN taking care of YOU.
1. WRITE YOURSELF A LETTER
Take some time to write yourself a letter about how you are doing. Writing always reveals what is really going on because you have given yourself time to focus on you. Ask yourself what exactly your body is telling you. What are your body’s warning signs? What is your body asking you to do to help it feel better again?
2. STOP NEGLECTING YOUR BODY!
Listen to what your body says and agree to put forth the effort to help yourself feel good again. Agree not to shift the blame elsewhere. If you do choose to neglect yourself, do everyone around you a favor. Stop complaining about feeling bad. They aren’t responsible. You are making the choice to feel bad.
3. STOP BERATING YOURSELF AND START CELEBRATING Your Body!
I am encouraging you to stop berating your body and start CELEBRATING the only body you will ever have. If you find yourself constantly comparing your body to the virtual women you see on television or any woman you want to look like, make a decision to stop. You may think they feel good just because they are wearing skinny jeans, but chances are pretty good that they wish they looked like you, or that they are depressed, or they have foggy thinking, or a sluggish metabolism and awful mood swings. You are not them.
The point is you are making yourself sicker by believing every other woman out there is PERFECT, happy and healthy and you aren’t. My Friend, the truth is: They definitely are not, so commit to stop comparing yourself to anyone and focus only on what you have control over and that is:
YOU, YOURSELF and YOUR BODY!

EVERYTHING ABOUT ME IS BASED ON MY OWN DECISIONS.
I could blame my DNA, my family, the government, the food, my husband, or the cards I was dealt. I could blame the kids, my lack of money or the lack of sunshine in the day. I could blame an infinite variety of things.
I could give someone else the responsibility to take care of the condition of my life but no one cares about ME as much as I do. And the truth is I am responsible for ME. I am the problem, nothing to add to it but ME.
I AM ALSO THE SOLUTION.
