Sometimes, just out of the blue, we start to crave sweets. We usually blame it on “that time of the month”. Some us can’t use that excuse any longer so we shift the blame to stress, more stress or a whole lot of stress. I say let’s just blame stress for everything and enjoy the sweets. Sorry…not good advice.
If the craving for sweets can be remedied with fruit, then eat away. No harm in eating fruit. If you are craving chocolate and you eat a Snickers once a year, still no harm was done. If you eat two Snickers, ten cookies, a soda and invite Ben and Jerry to your nightly ritual, now we need to talk. You are causing your body harm. [Read more…]
