Your body talks to you in a variety of ways; through pain and stiffness, through inflammation and tiredness, through emotional outbreaks and acne outbreaks. Listening to what your body is saying is difficult because you often are too busy to hear its many cries for help. The quickest thing to do is to medicate your symptoms with an over the counter or prescription drug or some form of alcohol. This will only gag your body so that it can no longer cry.
If you have symptoms (i.e. bloating, back pain, tiredness, stiff joints, etc) you often shrug it off to reasons that have become commonplace among us women like: I’m getting old; it is my time of the month, I’m going through Menopause, I stayed up too late, I’m stressed, My thyroid, I’m fat, My genetics or all the other excuses women use when they don’t feel good.
So you “Take something” to make it through the day, hoping that “that something” will make everything better for you. Then when your symptoms continue, you have to continue to “take something” and you just keep hoping that your cries for help will one day just go away.
Your Symptoms Won’t Just Disappear Unless…
Unfortunately if you continue eating the identical diet that you have always eaten, and continue the daily lifestyle that is causing your body to cry for help, your ailment will continue to fester and it will eventually resurface in another joint, another organ, in an emotional breakdown, or simply attack whichever part of your body that is the weakest and most susceptible to disease.
In other words, whatever it is that you are suffering from needlessly right now, simply won’t disappear unless…
Looking for the Root Cause.
Looking for a root cause is always difficult. The reason it is difficult is because you are shifting the responsibility of your body’s health to another person. It doesn’t matter who that person is: A doctor, a chiropractor, or a prayer chain, you are shifting the responsibility onto someone else.
Your body needs you to make some healing changes. If you continue to rely on anything or anyone other than yourself, you are in healing trouble.

Pay Close Attention to Your Body’s Healing Language. Here’s What We Are Going to DO Together!
- Make the Decision TODAY to Begin TAKING CARE of You! THEN make the decision which DAY you will BEGIN.
- Take yourself aside and talk to YOU. Tell yourself that you have made the decision to start being the one responsible for yourself. Tell yourself you are getting off the crazy sick train and climbing aboard the “I can heal me Train”.
- Get a piece of paper and write these words on it.
I’m Listening Body!
I am committing the next (?) weeks to putting forth the best effort I possibly can to help myself feel better. No one else is responsible for my body other than me.
Tape it to your pantry or on your refrigerator. Don’t worry about the comments you will hear from your family, remember THIS is for you, yourself and YOU.
Oh and Don’t Forget to…
If you do choose to neglect yourself, do everyone around you a favor and STOP talking about how bad you feel. They aren’t responsible. You are making the choice to feel bad.
